Diagnosis

Our psychologists have a comprehensive suite of psychometric assessments, along with the experience and care to match.

Developmental Diagnosis

When completing a development diagnosis, we identify the whole neurotype.

Because neurodivergent conditions commonly co-occur, we make sure to investigate the whole neurotype. Statistically, you’re more likely to have two or more conditions than just one. Because of this, we don’t just focus on one condition at a time (e.g. ADHD).

We can diagnose the following neurodivergent conditions: autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, PTSD, complex PTSD, developmental trauma, OCD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia.

We can also screen for dyspraxia, FASD, Tourette’s, and more. We might need to refer onto a neurologist, geneticist, psychiatrist, or paediatrician for further testing of some neurodivergent conditions.

Learning, memory, cognition

We can give a complete picture of cognitive functioning.

We can complete comprehensive cognitive, memory, and learning assessments. These assessments are often used in schools, the workplace, court cases, and nursing homes.

We can capture IQ levels, specific learning disorders (e.g. dyslexia), learning profile, long and short term memory function, and achievement levels. We also have non-verbal intelligence tests for people who are physically disabled.

These assessments are available for people aged 3 through 90 years old.

Assessments for specific organisations

We can assess your organisation’s client, so you can focus on helping them access supports and funding.

We are the preferred diagnostic clinic for many organisations across Southern NSW, including:

  • functional capacity assessments for the NDIS

  • developmental diagnostic assessments for foster care agencies and DCJ

  • reports for SIRA and work cover

  • assessments and report for court and legal matters

  • personality disorder assessments and recommendations
